One enemy does more damage than the good of 100 friends.
Bill Walsh

I’m currently working my way through The score takes care of itself: My philosophy of leadership by Bill Walsh. Walsh led the San Francisco 49er’s through their dramatic turn around from being one of the worst football teams in the NFL to Super Bowl Champions. This is a great book on leadership and developing a culture of excellence.

Think about the incredible time, energy and attention that enemies consume. We don’t need to spend our time seeking to get even while the other person is getting ahead. Life is much more enjoyable when we think about our friends rather than enemies.

If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18)
