This past weekend we had a rare opportunity to get the whole family together at Great Wolf Lodge.  What an amazing time!  We went rafting down some awesome slides, played games together, went out for a great steak dinner, and enjoyed being with one another.  It’s amazing how quickly the time goes by when you’re on vacation.  It reminds me of Albert Einstein’s description of relativity, "When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours – that’s relativity."

It’s special memories that bring fulfillment to our life.  Many people seek fulfillment through money or titles but they fall short.  Life is not about collecting stuff – rather it is shared experiences that bring value to our lives (and it can be a lot less expensive).  Jesus said it plainly, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions."  Jesus goes on and says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Luke 12:34).

What are some exciting memories you’re collecting?  Abraham Lincoln said it well, “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count it’s the life in your years.”  May you truly live all the days of your life!
