Our behavior toward others is often a reflection of our treatment of ourselves.
Tal Ben-Shahar

How is your behavior toward others? I have discovered that hurt people often hurt other people. If you’re not treating people with love, acceptance, and grace, then the place to start is with yourself. Start treating yourself the way you want other people to treat you. When you accept God’s love in your life and realize His unconditional acceptance, then you learn to accept yourself and show that grace toward others. Could it be that we are not loving others as we should because we have not learned to accept ourselves?

The second is this, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:31)
