Minimalism is not about having less; it’s about making room for more of what really matters.
We live in a society dominated by consumerism. Minimalism is an opportunity to to focus on the important matters of your life. You must ask yourself, “Do you own your stuff, or does your stuff own you?” Jesus gives us the proper perspective,
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19–21)
