To assess a nation, you look at the health and strength of its ideals.
Os Guinness

What would you say is the health and strength of the ideals of America? For many years it appeared that America had a common love of freedom. I wonder if that is still true. Tolerance seems to be the most cherished ideal among many. Tolerance is an important virtue, but not at the expense of truth. G.K. Chesterton observed that tolerance is the virtue of a man without convictions. May we never lose our love for the ideal of freedom.

and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (Johnn 8:32)
