Do what you love is for amateurs, Love what you do is a mantra for professionals.
Seth Godin

Commencement addresses are filled with the platitude to follow your passion. If people aren’t clear about their passion, then when they follow their passion, they may discover that it can turn into a job and the passion quickly wanes. People may like the title a job confers, but when it comes to doing the actual work, it’s not what they expected.

You may need to take an honest assessment of yourself and discover your strengths and weaknesses. Inquire among friends who will tell you the truth. See where there is are needs and seek to make a contribution to the world around us. Above all, listen to God and follow His leading and you will discover that as you follow His leading, it will become your passion.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going. (Ecclesiastes 9:10)
