This is a bold statement from one of the leading generals of World War Two. The Apostle Paul cautions us that we are in a spiritual battle. How is your morale? We must be careful that we do not allow the challenges that we face cause us to become discouraged. You will face defeat at times, but for the Christian you must remember that failure is not final. Keep your eyes on Him and remember that He has won the victory.

For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:3)
