Life does not always go as we plan, but it is a great comfort to know that God is sovereign and that He is in control of everything that happens to us. God does not lead you to where His grace cannot keep you. When you acknowledge God’s sovereignty you realize that His power is superior to everything else. The Psalmist affirmed this truth,

But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. (Psalm 115:3)
