Anxiety is the interest paid on trouble before it is due.
William Inge

The feelings of anxiety can seem to be all-consuming and relentless at times. We live in a fallen world and there are situations that can cause us to feel anxious. Anxiety can cause us to catastrophize the situation and then we find ourselves in a downward spiral. Don’t borrow trouble from tomorrow because many of the things we worry about won’t even happen.

The Apostle Peter gives us helpful advice on dealing with anxiety. Don’t hang on to your anxiety, give it over to God. Remember that He loves you and is concerned for you.

casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
