Our sermon today encouraged us to have spiritual eyes to see our spiritual blessings in Christ from Ephesians 1:18-19a, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy  people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.”

1. No one on their deathbed ever said, “I wish I spent more time at the office.”

2. When you see as God sees, you will live as God says.

3. When you see differently you will live abundantly.

4. When the word “hope” is used in Scripture it is not a wishful aspiration, but a confident expectation.

5. If you’re not sure of your identity in Christ, then you may seek to find it through your performance.

6. Your identity is settled and your destiny is secure.

7. When we don’t realize our spiritual inheritance, we tend to look elsewhere.

8. Life does not consist in an abundance of possessions. (Luke 12:14)

9. If you don’t understand the power you have in Christ, then you’ll seek power and control in the world.

10. When you see with spiritual eyes, you will see the invisible, hear the inaudible, believe the incredible, and do the impossible!
