On March 12th 2012 on young lady conducting humanitarian service in a Middle Eastern country was kidnapped by extremists. This past week four evening classes joined my class for a concert of prayer as part of our World Christian Week activities. A colleague of the young lady joined our prayer time and shared how this young lady had been in captivity for almost a year and asked if we would pray for her.
The colleague who led us in prayer found me a few days later and said that the young lady whom we had prayed for had been set free! She was set free early the next morning the day after we prayed. We were praying in the evening which would have been early the next morning in her geographical location!
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. (James 5:16)
Are you carrying a heavy burden? Bring your burden to God in prayer.
Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. (Mark 11:24)
