The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom.
Isaac Asimov

Knowledge is important, but knowing what to do with our knowledge requires wisdom. It’s been said that wisdom is the quality that keeps you from getting into situations where you need it. Biblical wisdom is not simply the accumulation of information, rather, it is the application of knowledge on how to live righteously before God. This may be in contrast to the wisdom of the world. The Apostle James describes the characteristics of biblical wisdom,

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. (James 3:17)
