An ounce of preventative discipline today is worth a pound of corrective action later.
Todd Henry
This statement is a clarion call for taking a proactive stance. You can always take corrective action later; however, the cost is often higher than than preventative discipline on the front end. It’s wiser to build a fence at the top of the cliff rather than a hospital at the bottom of the cliff.
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:13)
