God designs what we go through, we decide how we go through it.

It’s comforting to know that God is sovereign over the events in our lives. Much of our frustration comes about because we’re trying to control what we can’t control. Epictetus pointed out that our interpretation of life’s events can be the cause of our dismay, “It’s not things that upset us, it’s our judgment and opinions about things that do.” May we embrace the truth of the Apostle Paul,

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
