– Archilochus
This quote really hits home with me. During the summer my training was going well and I signed up for the Charleston half marathon. A few months ago I was doing some trail running in the Rocky Mountains and injured my achilles tendon. I’m currently resting the tendon, but wanting to do some serious training for the race.
but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. (1 Corinthians 9:27)
