The word hope is desire and expectation combined into one concept. Whereas faith often describes a rational sense of certitude, hope conveys an emotional sense of a confident expectation. John Calvin describes hope as “the constancy of faith.” Are you searching for hope? The Apostle Paul describes God as the source of our hope,

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
