Are you hearing from God? God’s call was not addressed specifically to Isaiah, it was addressed to any who had ears to hear:

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

Isaiah was in a state of humble repentance before God and God forgave his sin:

Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” (Isaiah 6:5)

God reveals Himself to those who realize their need for His cleansing touch. As you respond to the light you’ve been given, you will discover that God will give you more light. May we be people who hear from God and respond to His calling.
