Don’t be a prisoner of your past – become the architect of your future.
All of us have memories of our past that we wish were not there. You can’t move forward when you’re fixated on the rear view mirror. If you don’t let your past die, it won’t let you live. Cast off the bowline and sail off in freedom of the future. Our God is the God of new beginnings!
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
