Jim Elliot

Jim Elliot was a missionary to the Auca Indians in Ecuador. Jim was martyred alongside four other missionaries as they were attempting to make contact with the indigenous people. After Jim’s death, his wife, Elisabeth, along with their three-year-old daughter, lived among the tribe that killed her husband . They had a passion to share the gospel with those who had not heard. Jim and Elisabeth Elliot’s story have been an inspiration to many to go to the unreached.

Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:10)
