Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
Winston Churchill
We recently saw the movie “Darkest Hour” which chronicles Winston Churchill’s initial month in office as Prime Minister. This is an excellent study on leadership as you witness the responsibility Churchill carried as he stood alone against the Nazi’s as they moved across Europe. Churchill realized that fear is a reaction whereas courage is a decision as he demonstrated singular courage to make the difficult decisions that led to victory.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)
