As you journey through life it’s not only where you’re going, but it’s who you’re becoming.

We can become so fixated upon our plans and the destination that we lose our joy in the journey. God’s plans for you are not simply to take you somewhere, but to make you someone. God’s plan is to conform us to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29).

The journey is not always easy, but it’s for your benefit. During these days of uncertainty, be encouraged that God is allowing these challenges to make you stronger. Paul encourages us to become like Jesus as we journey through life:

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. (Ephesians 5:1-2)
