Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another.
Walter Elliott
Perseverance is often viewed as a steady determination in a course of action, purpose, or state; especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or long-term adversity. Perseverance realizes that the journey may not be easy, but the arrival is worth it. The long distance runner understands the need to persevere through the long and lonely miles even when it’s difficult.
Are growing weary as you run the race of life? Take each day as it comes. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (Galatians 6:9)
