“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)

Life is filled with challenging and, at times, overwhelming situations. The prophet Jeremiah had his share of difficult and painful circumstances. The city of Jerusalem was being besieged by Babylon and he was under arrest in the house of king Zedekiah. Jeremiah was called not only to preach the promises of God, but to put them into practice.

How would you answer God’s question, “Is anything too difficult for Me?” May we see God as He truly is and cling to His promises, even when our situation looks hopeless. We must realize that man’s ways lead to a hopeless end, but God’s ways lead to endless hope.
