Our sermon this week focused upon our victory in Christ from Romans chapter 8:
- Once your horizons have been expanded, you’re not content to return to the old ways.
- Your birthright as a child of God is a life of victory regardless of your circumstances.
- Our greatest challenge is not that we set our sights too high and we fail, but that we set our sights too low and we become content with a subnormal, mediocre Christian life.
- The glory of God is man fully alive. – Irenaeus
- If God doesn’t condemn us, then we shouldn’t condemn ourselves.
- You have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Thee. – Augustine
- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. – Romans 8:37
- Neurosis is always a substitute for legitimate suffering. C.G. Jung
- What does it mean to overwhelmingly conquer? It is a battle that draws us closer to God.
- You can wait for life to be easy or you can choose to be happy now.
