Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important. – C.S. Lewis
Since I believe in the infinite importance of Christianity I seek to grow in the area of spiritual leadership by attending the Global Leadership Summit every year. This year was an AWESOME Summit! Here are just a few thoughts that from the Summit that I will be reflecting upon:

You do your best work just above the level of being appropriately challenged.
If you don’t deal with challenging people in your organization, you discourage and de-motivate your best people.
The Life Cycle Exercise: Accelerating, Booming, Decelerating, Tanking.
What 5 words best describe the Good News of Jesus Christ?
- Love
- Evil
- Rescue
- Choice
- Restoration
Your God-given job as a leader isn’t to preside, pontificate, or preserve… your job is to move an organization from “here” to “there.”
Len Schlesinger
We are all entrepreneurs, only too many of us don’t get to practice it.
If you can’t predict the future, create it.
Action enables you to have more times at bat.
Cory Booker
Everyone is born an original, sadly most die copies. Booker T. Washington
The world you see outside is always a reflection of what’s inside of you.
When sticks are in a bundle they can’t be broken.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
Brenda Salter McNeil
We need Christian leaders that view catastrophic events as catalytic moments for the spirit of God to break in.
What you decide right here and right now may be the spark that lights a fire to transform your church.
Seth Godin
Someone here is going to do something that matters.
The TV-Industrial Complex: Buy Ads > Get More Distribution > Sell More Products > Make a Profit > REPEAT
There is something beyond jobs… art.
There is no map for being an artist.
Don’t wait to get picked. Pick yourself.
Just because the tide is out, it doesn’t mean there’s less water in the ocean.
We are constantly looking for a reason to not do our art.
Steven Furtick
“I despair at the thought that my life might slip by without God showing Himself mighty in my life.” – Jim Cymbala
If the size of the vision you have isn’t intimidating to you there’s a good chance it’s insulting to God.

Humility is not just another leadership technique. Humility is a reflection of the deep structure of reality. At the center of history is a cross… the self-giving of the Almighty. If that is true, the cruciform life is a life in touch with reality. Your attitude should be the same of that of Christ Jesus.

What is the future? It’s what you choose. (The best way to predict the future is to create it.)
There has never been an ordinary human being ever born; most of us die painfully and tragically ordinary.
What is spiritual leadership if we do not set the human nature free?
Whoever tells the best story shapes culture.
It’s not hard to evangelize when you tell a story in which they find themselves.
We are a mosaic… broken and fragmented pieces brought together by the masterful hand of an extraordinary Creator.
