Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad. (Proverbs 12:25)

The word anxiety implies heaviness and apprehension about the future. We must understand that anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, but it can rob today of its joy. The good news is that we don’t need to be weighed down by anxiety. A good word not only takes away our anxiety, but it also makes us glad. What constitutes a good word? A good word is that which gives us God’s perspective. A good word  magnifies God and enables us to see that nothing is too difficult for Him.

Is your heart weighed down? Go to His word and gain God’s perspective.
