Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 2:3)

In August 2021 the American forces led a hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan. During the confusion a suicide bomber killed more than 100 Afghan civilians and thirteen American service members. The U.S. military has a singular focus in the defense of our nation. It appears that mission is being diluted as the Performance Goal 4.2.3 for the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness is to “inculcate DEIA principles” throughout the entire Department of Defense. The Air Force has decided that flight training should reflect the demographics of our nation.

When an individual enters the military it involves challenging training to strip away the comforts and mindset of civilian life. The goal is to create warriors who devote their lives to the defense or our nation and the destruction of our enemies. We must understand:

The military does not practice democracy – it enables democracy.

I’m thankful for the men and women who are putting their lives on the line so we can experience freedom – let’s not burden them with woke ideology.
