I had the opportunity this past week to attend the Association of Christians Ministering among Internationals (ACMI) conference.  ACMI is a bi-national (Canadian/USA) network of volunteers and staff with ministries among international students throughout North America.  It was a great opportunity to attend some stimulating plenary sessions and workshops as well as reconnect with former students and colleagues in ministry.

The theme for the conference was "Re-Entry: Mobilizing World-Changers." David Aikman, journalist and author gave an excellent keynote address.  There was a wide variety of workshops on topics such as reentry, spiritual formation, ministry among Chinese, crossing cultures, building up ISM workers, etc.  This conference was a good confirmation of my current priorities in ministry.  I appreciate Mark Batterson’s statement:

Change of Pace + Change of Place = Change of Perspective
