God designs what we go through, we decide how we go through it.
We don’t always have a choice about the circumstances we face, but we can choose our attitude in those circumstances. Viktor Frankl instructs us in Man’s Search for Meaning, “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps. (Proverbs 16:9)
